Required skills: Unity 2D, C#, OOP Design Patterns

Job Description:

We are seeking a Unity developer responsible for building games for various target platforms based on the Unity framework. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement game functionality translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design and a quality product is essential.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in Unity Development technologies, strong
programming and coding skills, a keen eye for detail, and the analytical skills to identify
potential issues with a design plan. Working across many different departments, this role
requires a candidate with excellent communication skills, a pro-active attitude and a good
team ethic to unify a common vision.

Roles/ Responsibilities Include:

Lead the entire cycle of software development and delivery from ideation to deployment and
everything in between.

Ensure Adherence to standards of code quality, organization and processes.

Act as a mentor for less-experienced peers through both your technical knowledge and
leadership skills.

Use continuous delivery practices to improve software delivery speed.

Identify bottlenecks, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.

The ideal candidate should be able to apply their professional experience of software
development concepts and processes to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience in developing games using Unity 2D, including experience with “Unity
UI”.

Good knowledge of the C# programming language and best practices.

Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented software design principles, data structures and
algorithms.

Experience with optimizing memory and space usage in Unity.

Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.

Experience in writing unit tests.

Experience in development for iOS, Android and webGL.

Experience in using socket connections.

Experience with/ in using any 3rd party plug-ins

Experience in Git, Bit bucket etc.

Experience in working with teams of size, minimum 2- 5 people.

Other Advantages Include:

Experience in casino or slot game development.

The candidate must also be experienced with multiplayer games.

Experience in making custom plug-in as per the requirement for android/IOS.

Experience of new UI – (UI Toolkit)

Experience of web based games (i.e. WebGL)
