Domain Trainer – Front Office (Roles & Responsibilities) Teach students the basics of Front Office operations Explain the duties of Guest Service Executives and Front Office staff Train students in guest welcoming, greetings, and etiquette Teach check-in and check-out procedures Train students in reservation handling and basic PMS knowledge Improve students’ communication skills and telephone etiquette Teach complaint handling and guest service skills Train students in grooming, hygiene, and professional behaviour Conduct practical sessions, role plays, and mock Front Office activities Prepare students for interviews, assessments, and hotel jobs Maintain attendance, training records, and student performance Follow DDU-GKY and institute training guidelines Eligibility Criteria (As per SOP – Domain Trainer Minimum Requirements) Minimum 5 years hotel industry experience in Front Office or Food & Beverage Department Minimum 1 year teaching experience in any college or training institution Educational Qualification (any one): 3-year Diploma in Hotel Management, or Degree in Hotel Management, or 3-year course in Tourism / Hotel Management Candidates passed out in 2019 or 2020 are eligible 2021 pass-out candidates are not eligible Languages required: Malayalam and English Facilities Provided Hostel facility available for staff Food will be provided
