We are a Leading Delhi Based Consultant, currently we are hiring for SJM Infotech (P) Ltd Delhi (Moti Nagar) Location. 

 

Designation:                 Desktop Support Engineer

 

Desired experience:       2 - 3 Years 

 

Qualification:                Graduate / Diploma in Computer Science / IT or related field.

 

Salary:                          Negotiable

 

Job Location:                 Delhi - Moti Nagar (Near Kirti Nagar metro Station)

 

Working Days:              Monday to Saturday

Job Purpose

 

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, and basic network-related issues. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and user support.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop and laptop support to end users.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux/Windows OS, software, and applications.
  • Handle hardware issues, system upgrades, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Provide basic networking support such as LAN connectivity, IP configuration, and internet troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve system performance issues.
  • Assist users with software installation and configuration.
  • Maintain IT assets and system records.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair or replacement if required.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate / Diploma IT or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Desktop Support.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of Desktop Support and basic Networking.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and basic LAN networking.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Note: Knowledge of server management is not required for this role.
