Roles and Responsibilities:
Unity Developer responsible for building engaging 2D games for various target platforms using the Unity framework.
Your primary responsibilities will be to implement game functionality by translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a fully functional game.
Additionally, having basic knowledge or beginner-level experience with multiplayer game development using Socket.IO or Photon is a plus.
You'll work collaboratively to create high-quality games with robust multiplayer features.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement game functionality and translate design ideas into a smooth, functional, and engaging game.
Collaborate with other team members, including designers and developers, to ensure game mechanics align with project goals.
Optimize game performance for different devices and platforms.
Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code.
Debug and fix issues in game logic, UI, and performance.
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of experience working with Unity game engine (2D games).
Familiarity with C# and object-oriented programming concepts.
Knowledge of multiplayer game mechanics using Socket.IO or Photon (beginner level acceptable).
Understanding of game physics, animation, and UI in Unity. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git). Passion for developing high-quality games with attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
Experience in working with other networking frameworks for multiplayer games. Experience optimizing games for different platforms (mobile, desktop, etc.). Knowledge of game monetization techniques and in-game analytics.
