Job Description

Designation: Sr. SQL Database Developer/ Architect

Desired Experience: Exp: 5 – 8 yrs of experience in SQL Database Development

Qualification: BE/ B Tech/ M Tech/ MCA and any Graduate.

Job Location: Noida Sector – 59

Working Days: 5 Days Working Monday to Friday

Essential Requirements: 

Candidates must have the following experience:·         5 years+ SQL development experience

·         Demonstrated proficiency in data modelling & T-SQL.

·         Strong RDBMS & DWH-BI knowledge.

·         Exceptional skill in the design and development of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and SQL Server tables, stored procedures, views and trigger

·         Database and query performance tuning and optimisation

·         Experience on making Power BI\Tableau reports

·         Data cleansing and data correction work

·         Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues.

·         Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor and SQL Profiler

·         Comprehensive knowledge of index configuration and management. How statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively.

Candidate must be:·         Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

·         outstanding verbal and written communication skills

·         Highly organised

·         Highly competent and diligent

·         Focussed on quality

 

The candidate would benefit from:·         MCSA or other relevant SQL server certification.

·         Computer Science or related IT/IS degree or similar

·         Understanding of project development languages such as .NET

·         Understanding MySQL and NoSQL databases

  Job Specification:

  • Hands-on Full lifecycle delivery of database design/development, SSRS reports, PowerBI reports and SSAS.
  • Understanding and documenting new and existing requirements and translating these into high-level database designs and then implementing
  • Helping and leading other developers in all aspects of SQL Server development
  • Working with the development team to contribute to project delivery, review T-SQL code and provide occasional best practice guidance
  • Engage with the wider IT project management teams to ensure early visibility of upcoming projects, and to support with the design, development and architecture of system database in line with defined company standards.
  • Designing architecture for Data Warehouse/ tabular+cubes for performance, capacity and stability
