Role Overview
GCP DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. He will collaborate across development, operations, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
✓ Design and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager
✓ Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML models and applications using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
✓ Automate deployment of Vertex AI, Vision AI, Generative AI, Dialogflow, and custom ML models
✓ Manage containerized applications with Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker
✓ Ensure high availability and scalability of AI services using Kubernetes (GKE)
✓ Monitor and optimize performance of AI workloads using Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana
✓ Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to streamline model training, testing, and deployment
✓ Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance
✓ Automate provisioning and deployment processes
✓ Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
✓ Optimize cloud resource usage and cost
✓ Document infrastructure and deployment workflows
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
• Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Vertex AI, AI Platform, or TensorFlow Serving on GCP
• Familiarity with ML Ops practices and tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and security principles
• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Machine Learning Engineer) preferred
Bonus Skills
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• Experience with observability practices and performance optimization
• Experience with Kubeflow, MLflow, or TFX
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
