Key Responsibilities 1) Receiving: Unloading incoming deliveries and inspecting them for damages or discrepancies against purchase orders. 2) Scanning & Storing: Using barcode scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to log stock levels and place items in designated storage locations. 3) Picking: Reading work orders to accurately locate, retrieve, and scan items from warehouse racks for customer orders. 4) Packing: Inspecting goods for quality, packaging items securely with appropriate materials (e.g., bubble wrap, boxes), and attaching correct shipping labels. 5) Shipping: Organizing packed orders by delivery route, creating shipping manifests, and loading them onto delivery trucks.
