Job Title: Document Writer Technical & Non-Technical (UML/ER Diagrams)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Document Writer with a strong grasp of ERP systems, capable of creating both technical and non-technical documentation, including ER diagrams, UML diagrams, system documentation, user manuals, and training guides. The ideal candidate must bridge the gap between technical teams and business users with clear, concise, and accurate documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain technical documentation for ERP modules, APIs, databases, and system architecture.
Design ER diagrams and UML diagrams (Class, Activity, Use Case, Sequence, etc.) to visualize system components and data flow.
Develop user manuals, help guides, SOPs, and training documentation for internal and client use.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical users.
Collaborate with development teams, QA, business analysts, and project managers to gather inputs for documentation.
Update documents based on new releases, changes, and feedback.
Maintain a central repository of all documentation in version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ensure consistency in terminology, structure, and branding across all documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, IT, or related field.
Proven experience (2+ years) as a Technical Writer, ERP Documentation Specialist, or similar role.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or custom ERPs).
Strong knowledge of ERD tools (e.g., dbdiagram.io, MySQL Workbench) and UML tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io, StarUML).
Excellent command of English with strong grammar, structure, and formatting abilities.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), database design, and system architecture.
Ability to manage multiple documents and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Experience in documenting API endpoints, workflows, and process automation.
Knowledge of version control (Git) and project tracking tools (JIRA, Trello).
Exposure to compliance standards (ISO, GDPR, etc.) in documentation.
