We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5–12 years of experience, specifically focused on bridge construction and Telangana state government projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects from the Panchayat Raj (PR) and Roads & Buildings (R&B) departments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of bridge projects, ensuring compliance with MORTH and IRC standards while maintaining strong liaison with government authorities. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Execution & Bridge Engineering Lead the construction of major and minor bridges, culverts, and flyovers. Supervise pile foundations, open foundations, well-sinking, and PSC (Pre-stressed Concrete) girder fabrication and launching. Ensure all structural work aligns with approved designs, IRC (Indian Roads Congress) codes, and MORTH specifications. 2. Government Liaison & Documentation Coordinate directly with Executive Engineers (EE) and Superintending Engineers (SE) in the R&B and Panchayat Raj departments. Manage the TG-iPASS requirements and other statutory clearances. Prepare and process Revised Estimates (RE) and Work Slips as per field conditions. 3. Billing & Measurements (MB) Oversee the recording of measurements in Measurement Books (MB) as per Telangana government norms. Ensure timely preparation and submission of Running Account (RA) bills and final bills. Reconcile material consumption and handle price escalation claims. 4. Quality Control & Safety Maintain rigorous quality standards for concrete (M30, M35, M40+ grades) and reinforcement steel. Coordinate with third-party quality control agencies appointed by the state government. Implement strict safety protocols at bridge sites, especially during monsoon or high-water flow seasons. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering. Experience: 8+ years, with at least 5 years specifically in Bridge Construction. Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera; familiarity with state billing software. Domain Knowledge: * Deep understanding of the Telangana Revised Standard Data (TRSD) and Schedule of Rates (SoR). Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and Item Rate contract models. Communication: Fluent in Telugu (for local labor and field staff management) and English/Hindi (for corporate reporting). Preferred Attributes Prior experience in the Mahabubnagar or Rangareddy circles is a plus. Strong existing network within the Telangana State Bridge Corporation or R&B department. Expertise in managing Land Acquisition (LA) issues and utility shifting.
