PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Skills: AWS, Terraform, Shell Script, Docker, Cloud, Devops, CI/CD

About the role:

• As an Architect you will define, establish architecture and lead the development of Cloud solutions.
  • Stakeholder in business case development and validation
  • Develop and own architectural roadmap, forge an alignment with requirements from the business, customers and stakeholders strategies
  • good knowledge of AWS glue using data pipelines in aws.
  • Manage and update the architecture models as needed to evolve with the available cloud services / providers
  • optimize solution architectures for costs and identify cost control mechanisms
  • Capacity/demand forecasting, tracking of AWS costs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, and business groups to categorize and describe solutions for business and technical requirements.
  • Stay ahead with latest technologies for the domain, and apply the experience and knowledge on architecture and to improve the product features
  • Maintaining microservices using terraform.
  • Promote DevOps practices and design solutions for automated continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Define security policies, monitoring procedures and maintainability of the Cloud solution
  • Operational responsibility of ensuring solutions are resilient, scalable, fault-tolerant, performant and the operating costs are optimal
  • Good knowledge of BASH scripting.
  • Experience in ELK stack, grafana and prometheus.
  • Experience in Google Cloud, AWS is an additional advantage.About you:
• 2+ Years of technical experience with as a cloud engineer.
  • Extensive professional experience working as a software architect designing and architecting software solutions for large enterprises.
  • experience of building, configuring and supporting large-scale Cloud solutions using AWS or GCP
  • An expert level understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) including VPC, IAM, EKS, EC2, or AWS Config. AWS experience in both commercial and GovCloud Regions
  • Experience with Containers and Container orchestration solutions: Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, or Docker Swarm.
  • Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledgeable in programming constructs and hands-on experience coding in scripting languages, Python, Ruby or Perl or other languages required to build ‘Infrastructure As Code’.
