Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Report Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using SQL. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet their reporting needs.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain SQL queries to generate reports and dashboards based on user requirements.
Analyze data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
Work closely with business users to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Manage and optimize database performance to ensure efficient report generation.
Document all report development processes and maintain up-to-date records.
Conduct thorough testing of reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Identify and resolve issues related to report generation and data discrepancies.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL report writing or a related role.
Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
